CommUnityCare Health Centers, a system of more than 27 health centers, is building its in-house team to support its 2020 Epic Systems installation and is looking for skilled and enthusiastic team members to keep us moving in the right direction. Epic Application Analyst
Overview: The Epic Application Analyst is the Subject Matter Expert and technical point of contact for Epic Applications they are trained in. They are responsible for configuration of Epic applications, leading Requirements Gathering Sessions, technical documentation, and testing. They participate as a member of the project team, working on upgrades and new application and workflow implementation, including partnering with the Interface Team to connect third party applications. This position offered a remote work option!
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of experience supporting healthcare IT or healthcare applications required; or
- High School Diploma and 3 years of experience supporting healthcare IT or healthcare applications (this includes working as an end user of an electronic health record system)
- Previous Epic Certification or Proficiency for external candidates
- Internal candidates are required to obtain certification or proficiency within 3 months of transition to

Epic Training Specialist I
Overview: The Epic Education Specialist I is responsible for the training and support of all clinical and administrative team members. The Epic Training Specialist I will create training documentation and curriculum; perform technical training for new hires and ongoing user training during system changes/upgrades; participate in quality assurance testing to ensure end user requirements are met with a focus on efficient clinic workflow.
Requirements: Associate degree in Business, Clinical Science, Education or Computer Science or high school diploma/GED with three years of experience in computer-related training, adult education, or as an Electronic Health Record super-user in lieu of associates

Epic Training Specialist II
Overview: The Epic Training Specialist II is responsible for the training and support of all clinical and administrative team members. The Epic Training Specialist II will create training documentation and curriculum; perform technical training for new hires and ongoing user training during system changes/upgrades; participate in quality assurance testing to ensure end user requirements are met with a focus on efficient clinic workflow. The Epic Training Specialist II will also perform other duties as assigned.

Epic Training Manager
Overview: The Epic Training Manager leads and directs projects for all EPIC training; and partners on other projects as needed related to Epic training, learning resources, and training Leads, oversees, and directs the upkeep and management of EPIC training environments, lesson plans and learning resources. Responsible for ensuring technical proficiency amongst Principal Trainers and Credentialed Trainers. Involved in developing the strategy, designing, and executing on the plan used to deliver exceptional system application training and support through optimal methods. Supports customers in all system changes and facilitates support program to meet the needs of end users. Works collaboratively with CUC Analysts Team, Educators, and Clinical Educators to ensure effective and appropriate training and education plans are in place and executed on. The Epic Training Manager is ultimately responsible for the quality of the training environments.

Research Analyst, Senior (EPIC)
Overview: The Research Analyst, Sr. will act as an expert in understanding the organizations data, working with stakeholder groups to create dashboards, visualizations, algorithms, and business tools for use across the organization. This includes aiding various teams in drawing insight from our data by researching, compiling, and analyzing data and preparing various reports for distribution. This analyst will act as an Epic subject matter expert for front/back-end Epic reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline. Experience of 5 years or more in a related field (healthcare, statistics, experimental research, data science, economics, or public health) will be considered in lieu of
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare, statistics, experimental research, data science, reporting and analytics, economics, or public
- Epic certification required within 6 months of
- Must meet CommUnityCare’s Epic pre-assessment

Strategy Data Analyst, Senior (EPIC)
Overview: The Strategy Data Analyst, Sr. will work on strategic planning, demographic, operational, performance measurement, research, and other reporting to improve the health of our community by caring for those who need it most. This position works with CommUnityCare leaders to coordinate responses to data requests. These requests may include, but are not limited to regulatory reporting requirements, research, and data analysis to support partner alignment, business development, program development, and program evaluation and performance measurement. Work will include, but will not be limited to, preparing data for analysis, automating data staging as appropriate; creating data visualizations and maps; analyzing data outputs to compose written reports that respond to data requests; analyzing data collection procedures, investigate business development strategies, and identify patient access and healthcare opportunities; and presenting data analysis and findings to leadership and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in statistics, Public Health, epidemiology or relevant field
- Five (5) years data experience in healthcare, statistics, experimental research, data science, reporting and analytics, economics, or public
- Epic certification required within 6 months of
- Must meet CommUnityCare’s Epic pre-assessment
