Pre-exposure prophylaxis, known as PrEP, is a once-daily pill that significantly reduces your risk of acquiring HIV.

CommUnityCre PrEP services are available at multiple locations and our teams are ready to assist in enrolling patients in prescription assistance programs, including the federal Ready, Set, PrEP program.

Post-exposure prophylaxis, known as PEP, is a treatment regimen that prevents HIV infection after a known exposure to the virus. It is important to know that the medications used for PEP must be started within 72 hours after the incident occurred to be effective.

Starter Packs: CommUnityCare offers PrEP and PEP medication starter packs which provide immediate access to medication regardless if have insurance or not.
