We were thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of our new Chalmers Courts Health Center with Chalmers Courts residents, our partners the Housing Authority of the City of Austin, Central Health and distinguished guests Austin Mayor Kirk Watson, City Council Member José Velásquez, and Office of Public and Indian Housing Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Richard Monocchio.

Chalmers Courts Health Center brings high-quality, affordable healthcare directly to those living in and around East Austin’s Chalmers Courts, an area of longstanding health disparities. The health center marks an important step in creating a Central Texas where everyone has access to the care they need.
